I was using Google Earth to look at the Harbor Freeway in LA and I noticed a strange lattice of roads near the airport. I did some more research and found the page below. For some reason this is fascinating to me.

What prompted you to google earth the Harbor Freeway to begin with? :)

I remember coming to LA in the early 1990's and the freeway was almost done. It was neat to see the unfinished interchanges hanging in the sky. I came back in 2004 and saw it completed but I thought it would be neat to see it from the air.
